POWER LED
cable of this device must be connected to thePOWER LED
cable of the motherboard to detect the power on/off status. - Do not use the USB power supply from the host, as it may cause incorrect recognition of the power on/off status.
Why Use Type-C Power Supply?
This method is used when small motherboards lack PCI-E slots or when all PCI-E slots on the motherboard are occupied. Under normal circumstances, this method is not recommended.
Using Motherboard 24PIN Power Supply
Warning
- Be sure to operate while the power is off.
- Be sure to use a multimeter to measure accurately.
Tips
No technical support is provided for this connection method.
When the power is off, use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the 24-pin connector. This device requires a 5V input. Connect the 5V voltage and Ground to this device using a Type-C adapter cable.
